FROM CONCEPT TO PRODUCTION
A transparent, engineering-led development workflow integrating industrial design, prototyping, tooling validation, production planning and controlled mass manufacturing.
Concept Input & Product Planning
Customers provide 2D concept sketches, product dimensions and development requirements. Our team conducts the initial review and formally launches the project after confirming the basic direction.
FREEFORM 3D Sculpting & Engineering Review
Based on the approved 2D input, our designers use FREEFORM to build detailed 3D exterior models. Product features are evaluated for demolding and injection requirements, adjusted when necessary, and presented in six views for customer approval.
High-Precision 3D Printed Prototype
After the appearance is approved, a high-precision 3D printer is used to produce a physical prototype, allowing the customer to verify the appearance, structure and dimensions more intuitively.
Hand-Painted Color Sample & Sign-Off
Once the prototype is confirmed, any necessary revisions are completed. A new sample is then hand-painted and color-matched before being submitted for final customer confirmation and signed approval.
Production Mold Design
After the final sample is signed, the project formally enters the mold design stage. The approved product structure is translated into a production-ready tooling solution.
Mold Manufacturing Schedule
A detailed mold manufacturing schedule is established at the same time, keeping key milestones, responsibilities and target completion dates clear throughout the tooling stage.
Mold Manufacturing & Progress Reporting
During mold manufacturing, progress is reported to the customer in a timely manner. Regular updates keep the entire tooling process transparent, traceable and controllable.
Mold Fitting, Trial Molding & White Sample
After tooling is completed, mold fitting and trial molding are carried out. Potential injection issues are identified and improved, and injection-molded white samples are submitted for customer approval.
Final Color Samples & Production Scheduling
After the injection sample is approved, painting fixtures and pad-printing plates are prepared. Ten sample sets are produced for final bulk color confirmation, followed by the formal mass-production schedule.
Mass Production & Quality Delivery
Formal mass production begins after final approval. Production photos and progress updates are shared regularly, while any issue is communicated and corrected promptly to protect product quality and delivery performance.
Complete OEM/ODM Development & Manufacturing Capability
From initial concept input and engineering validation to tooling, sample approval and controlled mass production, Longman manages every stage through a transparent and structured project workflow.
